Graphic Designer

This person must take direction well and have the ability to learn and hone their design skills through the guidance of the creative director and senior designer.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a degree or diploma in Graphic Design
• 2-5 years of experience
• Demonstrated experience creating printed material and website design
• Exceptional Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator skills, including image and typesetting optimization
• Have a strong understanding of design principles, typography and press preparation
• Detail oriented
• Open-minded, flexible, accommodating, fast learning, fast thinker

Frontend web/CSS developer

The role of the developer will be to integrate various web designs into a Content Management System (CMS). While the candidate is not directly responsible for the visual design aspects of the website, an eye for design would be an asset.

Things to expect:

• Advanced Photoshop slicing experience, including manipulating layers and effects is required
• Must demonstrate an expert understanding of PHP, ASP.net, CSS, XML, java and object oriented programming
• Integrating CMS websites based on PHP or ASP.net languages. The ideal candidate should be fluent with both languages.
• Be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision, but must also love collaboration and brainstorming
• Organized with great time management skills

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience developing and programming websites that utilizes advanced PHP or ASP.net functions
• Integrating database, e-commerce, content management and similar systems
• Autonomous, reliable person who can meet deadlines and possesses a good capacity for adaptation
• Proficiency with cross-browser/cross-platform issues and web standards
• Comfortable with hand-coding

Copy Writer

The role of the copy writer is to create and harmonize long and short content for different types of media, ranging from web, to print, to advertisements, to annual reports to brochures.

Things to expect:

• Developing first drafts from material that is often spotty
• Ability to organize copy into a cohesive and flowing idea
• Be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision, but must also love collaboration and brainstorming
• Organized with great time management skills

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience writing web and print copy, both in long and short formats
• Experience in writing for the mining, pharmaceutical or retail sectors
• Integrating technical details into copy
• Must demonstrate a range of writing styles and tones
