Full Story

A dream so many of us have in the business world is to step out on our own. The entrepreneurial call is full of risk and reward — two words the creators of Mantis Capital Partners are very familiar with. Mantis chose Red Label to develop their corporate identity, motivated by the importance of great communications materials and a desire to take some of the risk out of their new business.

The company logo is crucial to the corporate brand building process. After an analysis of the competitive landscape and the Brand Equity Building Strategy, Red Label decided on a symbol to reinforce the brand meaning: the stallion. We wanted to draw on associations with these powerful horses and Mantis wanted to build this image into their brand.

Colour was another key consideration in the development of the logo and materials. Mantis wanted to grab attention and stand out from the competition. A deep shade of red imbued their logo with a sense of passion and strength.

Strategic brand management is vitally important. At this critical point in the life of this young company, Mantis' new logo offers a solid start on the path to creating brand equity.
